NOTE:
CDI Electronics manufactures replacement stators for Force, Mariner and Mercury engines, using either the CDM modules or the standard
switch box ignition system. In order to provide the correct replacement stator for your application, we offer the following information:
The "RED" series stator is recommended for CDM ignitions systems ONLY.
part numbers for the stator are 2075K1 (9 Amp) and 2075K2 (16 Amp).
Stators for standard switch box ignition systems: Engines manufactured from 1988 to 1995 using the one-piece cast flywheel will use
either the 174-8778 or 174-9710 stators. The 174-8778 (9 Amp) stator can be used on engines with or without the rectifier / regulator.
The 174-9710 (16 Amp) stator can only be used on engines equipped with a rectifier / regulator.
It is recommended that the orignial equipment stator part number be used when ordering CDI Electronics stators. If the part number is not
available, please contact customer service.
