Answer: No, we do not charge sales tax on any motor shipped to an address outside of Florida or on any boat and motor combination which will be registered in a state other than Florida.
Are there any hidden charges or add-ons to your prices?

Why do you sometimes show a price on a motor and when called you say the motor was not in stock?
Answer: We are a high volume dealer and as such our inventory rotates on a continuous basis. Frequently, Yamaha is out of stock, consequently, we must wait to be re-supplied.
Should I buy a boat or motor from my local dealer?
Answer: This is a decision that each person must make for themselves. While some dealers take advantage of customers by price gouging, they are certainly in the minority, most dealers are only looking to make a legitimate profit margin. The business model at Boats.Net is to price our products with very low profit margins and pass the savings on to the customers. We feel this creates a win-win situation for the customers and our company. If you are not happy with your local dealer, before you switch to a different boat manufacturer give us a call.
Why doesn't your site have prices posted for all of the boat lines you carry?
Answer: Some manufacturers have specifically prohibited us from posting prices of their boats because of complaints from other dealers.
Answer: We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of our customers using this website. We do not collect any information from you unless you provide it to us. All personal identifying information is treated confidentially by Boats.Net and is never shared, sold, or otherwise disclosed to any third party. We will periodically send you email relating to boat, motor, and parts specials. If you do not want to receive any email from us, just respond with a note and we'll remove you from our list immediately.
